Experience at Scale
About SEAN D. HAMMERLE
I’ve spent my career working at the intersection of growth, complexity, and global scale, leading organizations and teams across multiple continents where no two environments, cultures, or expectations are the same.
I didn’t learn leadership in a single market or industry. I learned it by working and leading across multiple continents, where scale looks different and alignment matters most.
That experience shaped how I see organizations.
Growth is rarely the problem.
Misalignment between leadership, culture, and execution is.
I led the build and scale of global operations across the United States, Panama, Kenya, and India, while also working earlier in my career with NGOs and C-suite leaders across Africa, China, Europe, and the United States. These experiences shaped how I approach cross-cultural leadership, organizational design, and trust at scale.
Today, I work with leaders navigating complexity, growth, and transition, including building strategic partnerships within healthcare and other highly regulated industries.
Before my career in global business, I studied opera performance at Louisiana State University before completing my degree in Political Science. That experience shaped my discipline, presence, and ability to perform under pressure.
As a competitive triathlete and coach, I developed a mindset centered on endurance, accountability, and sustained excellence, principles that continue to influence how I lead today.
I approach leadership as a system. One that must be observable, accountable, and capable of scaling across people, culture, and performance.
I work with leaders navigating growth, transition, and complexity. My belief is simple. Performance and humanity are not competing priorities. Leaders who understand this build organizations that endure.

personal Values
My commitment to leadership extends beyond the boardroom.
I have served on boards and chaired organizations across education, healthcare access, LGBTQ+ advocacy, and the arts.
These experiences reflect a broader belief that leadership carries responsibility, not just for performance, but for impact. I believe in mentoring future leaders and using business as a force for meaningful change.
Global Recognition
Recognized globally for leadership, scale, and organizational impact across industries and regions.
Organizations I’ve led and supported have received international recognition for performance, customer experience, and operational excellence:
